My affair with real estate began in my teens when my father would take me with him to look at properties. I watched how these turned into incredible investments and saw first hand how equity can grow – including our family home. I took this value with me when I married and we bought our first home in 1984. Decades and several homes later I still believe today the family home is an excellent long term investment when properly managed. As a working mom raising a family I understand how life gets busy and how easy it is to put these things on the back burner.

The best time to start looking at renewing your existing mortgage is 120 days before your maturity date. If your existing lender has sent you a renewal offer in the mail, the first thing you should do is send it to me so I can give you a second opinion.
